Tata Investment Corporation Limited shares surged 6.78% to ₹7,775 following the announcement of a 1:10 stock split, with October 14, 2025, set as the record date. The stock hit a 52-week high of ₹7,794 intraday, fueled by strong trading volumes of 3.16 lakh shares and a turnover of ₹239.34 crore by early afternoon.
The subdivision, approved by shareholders on September 21, 2025, will convert each ₹10 face value share into 10 shares of ₹1 each. The MOVE aims to enhance liquidity and broaden retail investor access. The company's amended capital structure retains an authorized capital of ₹60 crore but now divides it into 60 crore shares of ₹1 instead of 6 crore shares of ₹10.
